Frequently Asked Questions

How long will a timber floor last before needing resurfacing?

A timber floor is durable and hard wearing and will not need resurfacing for at least 10-15 years. Any resurfacing can be done in-situ and there is no need to lift the flooring to service it.

Is your timber sustainable?

Recycled hardwood is the most sustainable source of timber you can buy.

However, all of the Woodage’s new timber is sourced from forests under the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and Australian Forestry Standard (AFS).

Both of these certifications mean you can be sure the timber you are buying comes from a forest managed in a sustainable manner.
